My Essential Mac Apps - a concise list
I always see Top Mac Apps lists on Digg or any other site, but they’re all more general lists of the best apps in each category. Here’s my take of apps I use regularly and which I probably can’t live without.
Awaken - I actually used this for the first time this week. The obnoxious EH EH EH EH EH EH of my alarm clock is the equivalent of someone shoving their thumb up my ass...

Apartment Hunting
Vinh: i looked at apartments on craigslist last night
Vinh: i wish rent was cheaper here
John: same here
John: apartment hunting is just depressing
Vinh: i found this really cool apt in downtown LA that was actually cheap, but downtown LA isn't exactly the safest place at night
John: i can give you firearm recommendations.
Vinh: i kinda like tasers
Vinh: i like to see people suffer
John: suffer?
John: dude
John: a taser will make someone suffer for like 20 seconds
John: a bullet to the spine will make them suffer the rest of their life

Thought for the Day
I’m glad my parents didn’t stick me with a painful Vietnamese first name like Duong or Long or anything else that could be associated with genitalia. Instead, my name just gets mistaken for other names like Ed and Suzanne.
