I scored this David Mazzucchelli designed Batman for free. Possession of this limited edition statue has raised my geek quotient by +250xp.
In the spirit of Halloween, I decided to read Neil Gaiman’s Graveyard Book last week. He’s one of my favorite authors, but I usually either love or strongly dislike his work. In the case of the Graveyard Book, I loved it. Written in homage of Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book, the story is about Nobody Owens who is adopted by a graveyard and its deceased inhabitants when his family is murdered by a mysterious figure. A fun book with adventure, wit and a little bit of heart, the Graveyard Book is something I plan on rereading as often as possible.
