The Helio Sequence - Shed Your Love
Here’s how my musical tastes work - a 4 step solution:
1. If I love a band from the start, odds are that I’ll grow to dislike them in time.
2. If I dislike a band from the start, odds are that I’ll grow to like them in time.
3. If I hate a band from the start, odds are that I’ll grow to love them in time.
4. If I try to like a band, odds are that I’ll never like them no matter how hard I try.
I definitely didn’t like these guys the first time I heard them. Too techno-y, I thought. The Helio Sequence is a band you have to see live to fully appreciate what they do.
