The one where I make another video with clips collected from the Aquarium of the Pacific. I really want to make a video with a hi-def camera next time. Also, I almost swore that sea turtle was dead. I had never seen it move up until now. Maybe it was asleep…
I saw the Terracotta Warriors on display at Bowers Museum. No photography was allowed, but that gave me more opportunity to appreciate the exhibit. It was neat to see something older than my next door neighbor (she’s pretty old).
I think I just ate the world’s first blue cranberry muffin. Can cranberries be blue? I’m Asian, our people don’t have these facts. The girl who sold it to me swore they were not blueberries, and you know what, I trust her. Blue cranberries, who knew?
There’s a small kid near me right now who won’t stop crying. His vocal range is quite impressive. If I could pass off non-humans as my offspring, I probably would except I’m not sure my mom would be okay with grandkids that consist of a duck, an r/c car and a pamphlet about teeth whitening. At least they’d never judge me for being a terrible dad.
I purchased an annual pass to the aquarium so that I can visit my jellyfish friend, Philippe. You’re thinking, “Vinh, how will you know which jelly is your pal Philippe?” Simple, he’ll be the one who is most happy to see me on my return visit.
Aquarium of the Pacific
Oh, here is my new AotP slideshow. Music and Ken Burns effect makes viewing photos fun. And have I told you how much I love vimeo? Well, I do. More later..
I wonder what animals would think if they could observe humans. When I go to the aquarium, I can spend hours watching the otters and jellyfish. Sea otters really have it made. They just float on their backs, groom themselves, eat some fish, and maybe get their bone on if the mood strikes. Seals are cool too. People who use the camera flash are not cool.
Enjoy.
