I love the smell of new books, comics or otherwise. I almost skipped buying the new League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Century: 1910 because of how bad Black Dossier was, but I’ve heard nothing but good things.

It’s my niece’s 4th birthday. I don’t know where that pit bull came from. I’m sure she’s participating in an illegal dog fighting ring, it’s the only plausible explanation.

Picked up my DSi last night. It’s slightly wider, slightly taller and slightly thinner than the DS Lite, but it feels more secure in my hands. I’ve got 1000 free points to spend in the DSi Shop, but it’s slim pickings until more first and third party games begin to trickle out.

I should start renting out my books to help recoup some of my bi-weekly comic expenses. On a side note, I’m sure I would’ve aced every single college course I took, especially Finance and Statistics, if my textbooks were illustrated and its contents contained guns, swear words and every concept involved imminent world doom. Actually, I’m pretty sure of this.
